This scholarship, sponsored by JH IT Consulting Services, will be awarded to a female participant between the ages of 14 and 18 who shows a passion for technology and entrepreneurship.

The award winner will be chosen by CompCamp executive and the award sponsor and will cover the full cost of admission to one CompCamp Program.

About CompCamp:

CompCamp is aiming to field the gap between lacking tech education resources and the needs of the booming industry by preparing students for a potential future in computer science or digital technology.

Our summer 2012 programs will run July 9th to August 3rd, and are targeted at high school students with the desire to explore the digital world and everything it has to offer.

Think computer camp means sitting in front of a screen all day and typing code? Or that you have to have a lot of experience to apply?

Think again. We strive to show participants what a career or education in computer science really means- backing up a focus on digital technology with an exciting atmosphere of innovation at our location, The Hub, to the process of idea generation and prototyping.
