Tanja is currently studying Animal Biology. In her spare time, she conducts research in fish physiology. Her favourite model organism is Danio rerio, the zebrafish. She is working hard to achieve her dream of a career in academia.

Leadership
Everybody asks for examples of this quality. I have so many for teamwork, creativity, etc. But I haven't led a group myself in a few years. I hope that this year I can join a few student organizations that will allow me to strut my stuff on a project or two.

I have been volunteering for the Edmonton Humane Society for 3 years. My goal for 2013 is to complete over 100 hours of service with them in this year.

I am the least sporty person. But this year I made myself a promise to increase my cardio! 5 km run in May here I come.
